Privacy policy
How Bhavanaram collects and uses retreat registration data, who can see it, and how to see, correct or delete yours through LINE OA @bhavanaram.
Who is responsible
Bhavanaram, 222 Moo 8, Tha Sala Sub-district, Mueang Lopburi District, Lopburi Province, Thailand. Contact us through LINE OA @bhavanaram or by phone at 092-454 2855.
What we collect
- When you register for a retreat, on this website, through LINE or at the registration desk: title, first and last name, nickname, gender, age, phone number, LINE ID, Thai ID number (if given), emergency contact, health notes staff should know, food allergies, room preference, an ID card photo and a face photo.
- For day-event registration: first and last name, phone number, optional nickname and LINE ID, the chosen event, and attendance status recorded by staff. This form does not ask for ID documents or photos and does not use PostHog.
- If you register someone else: your name, phone number and relationship to them.
- During the stay: your room, arrival and departure dates, and check-in.
- When you send the form on this website: Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the sender is not a bot, and we keep a value derived from your IP address (not the address itself) to stop repeated submissions.
- Website use: pages viewed, buttons clicked, device and browser type, and approximate location, through PostHog, which stores a cookie in your browser. PostHog only learns which retreat was chosen, not names or other answers in the form.
How we use it
We do not sell data or use it for advertising.
- To take your registration and contact you before the retreat.
- To register you for events, contact you about the event, and record whether you attended, separately from your accommodation.
- To assign rooms and look after your safety and health during the stay, including contacting your emergency contact when needed.
- To recognise returning joiners so you do not have to fill everything in again.
- To improve the website, from website usage data only.
Who can see it
Only authorised Bhavanaram staff, who sign in to the staff system with a listed Google account. Every change, and every time an ID card photo is opened, is logged with the staff member’s name.
Services that process data for us
Data may be processed on servers outside Thailand.
- Cloudflare: the website, the staff system, the database, photo storage, Turnstile, and the AI service (Workers AI) that reads ID card photos and LINE messages to help staff fill in forms.
- PostHog: website usage statistics.
- Google: staff sign-in only. It does not receive joiners’ data.
How long we keep it
We keep your data for future registrations until you ask us to delete it, or until it is no longer needed for registration. Deleting removes your name, phone number, emergency contacts, stay history and all your photos.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw your consent, at any time through LINE OA @bhavanaram or by phone at 092-454 2855. You may also complain to Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Committee under the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019).
For joiners who are minors, a parent or guardian registers and consents for them.
